Orange Dreamsicle Cocktail

It's Friday, and I've got a killer drink recipe to share with you.  Because what is better than throwing your purse on the table after a long workweek and fixing yourself a nice little toddy?  The glorious whole weekend is ahead of you, full of sparkly adventures and void of pesky alarm clocks.

So back to the recipe we go.  When Mom and I started planning our mini-Christmas, we decided cocktails were in order.

A total no-brainer, if you ask me.  :)

Normally we'll just pour a glass of wine, but with all of the fun holiday cocktail recipes floating around Pinterest, it got our gears turning.  Mom was in charge of picking a recipe to make, and I think she chose perfectly.  Here's the recipe for the Orange Dreamsicle Cocktail we enjoyed.

Ingredients

+ 12 oz. 7-Up

+ 12 oz. orange juice

+ 8 oz. whipped cream vodka (we used Pinnacle)

+ Dash of grenadine

Stir together and serve over ice.

Don't you think this would also make a great bridal shower or baby shower cocktail due to its bright and cheery color?
